Disco prompt

In 2012 we are looking at holding a number of fundraising events including the ever popular school disco, the fireworks party and of course our quiz evening.

There are a number of other ways you can raise funds for the school:-

In 2011 the PTA helped towards the purchase of the climbing wall and tyres, the playtime toys shed and the outside learning area.
In 2012 we hope to be able to contribute to other exciting projects together with providing additional learning resources for the children.

The PTA meet every couple of months at The Fighting Cocks and are always grateful for any new ideas and welcome new members. It would be great to increase members and helpers in 2012. If you can’t commit to attending regular meetings any help at events is much appreciated. The PTA hosted plenty of events in 2011 which helped generate funds for the school. We started off the year with a disco for the children closely followed by a Quiz Night. We also set up a tombola stand for the summer fayre which proved very popular. Other fundraisers included our Fireworks night which was a very successful evening. Bawnmore and Bilton Infant helped with the catering and tuck shop. Looking at the ticket sales it proved to be quite a community event. We also had cake sales, Easter competitions and a raffle.
