Year 3

Welcome to Year 3

 

Year 3 is an important year as pupils join us at Bilton Junior School.  In Year 3, we aim to make this transition as enjoyable and worry-free as possible. We focus on developing confident and happy learners who are equipped with the independence and skills needed to make the most of their learning.  

 

During Year 3 our topics include Changes, Meet the Flintstones, Our Local History, Coasts and the Egyptians. We regularly go on trips or have visitors and events in school to inspire the learning in our cross curricular topics.  Trips we plan to do over the course of the year are trips to New Walk Museum, Leicester and Rugby Cemex, we do den building in Cock Robin Wood and lots more inspiring activities.

 

As a Year 3 staff we are always looking to provide the very best learning experiences for your children and warmly invite you to contact us where you feel you could help contribute towards this.
