How does the school know if children need extra help?
At BJS, we are proud to be an inclusive school where every child is valued as an individual. We recognise and nurture each child’s strengths, while providing the right support to help them overcome challenges.
In line with the Code of Practice, children are always at the heart of everything we do. We believe that education works best when school and families work together, so we actively encourage strong partnerships with parents and carers.
If you have any concerns, your first point of contact will be your child’s class teacher, who can work closely with our SENCo to provide additional guidance and support where needed.
Our aim is to ensure that every child has access to a broad and balanced curriculum, enabling them to thrive, grow in confidence, and achieve their full potential.
