Please could we ask for your support in ensuring that younger children do not ride bikes or scooters
anywhere on the school grounds, including the path, car park and playground.
Children who attend BJS already know that they must get off their bikes and scooters and walk them while
on site. We kindly ask that the same rule is followed by younger siblings and any other children
accompanying families at drop-off and collection times.
We know that bikes and scooters are great fun, but our site is particularly busy at these times. Keeping
them off wheels while on school grounds helps prevent collisions and makes the space safer for everyone.
Please ensure younger children are closely supervised and that their bikes and scooters are walked or
carried until you have left the school grounds.
Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping our school community safe.
