P.E

At Bilton Church of England Junior School, we believe that Physical Education is about much more than sport – it is about developing confidence, teamwork, resilience and a lifelong love of being active. Our PE curriculum provides children with a wide range of opportunities to develop their physical skills, coordination, balance and fitness through engaging and challenging activities. From gymnastics and dance to athletics, games and team sports, pupils are encouraged to challenge themselves, discover their strengths and celebrate their achievements. We place great importance on promoting positive attitudes towards physical activity, teaching children the value of perseverance, fair play, cooperation and respect for others. Through individual challenges and collaborative experiences, children learn to support one another, embrace healthy competition and recognise that success comes in many different forms. We want every child, regardless of their ability or starting point, to feel included, motivated and proud of their progress. By encouraging healthy habits, active lifestyles and a positive approach to physical and mental wellbeing, we aim to inspire children to enjoy being active both during their time at BJS and throughout their lives.
